I have found over the years that it is best to have a camera with me and not need it, rather than need a camera and not have one to hand. I'm not one for setting up shots really, although I have done. But rather shoot stuff as and when they happen. Kind of stop the car I need a shot of that. That type of thing. I am always intrigued with old castle or fort ruins. One can still see the soldiers, knights, and people of the day if they close their eyes. The Gothic arches and skills needed to build one of these incredible piles without modern equipment makes the mystery all the greater.
